QLD Workshop on Draft Log Haulage Code and CoR

Event Description

TQ and AFCA will hold a Queensland industry workshop on the current draft of the log haulage code of practice and related NHVR/CoR requirements and safety practices.

Event Program

Timber Queensland would like to ensure there is good awareness of the draft code (which will become a benchmark of best practice once finalised/endorsed by NHVR etc.), and clarification around interpretation of acceptable practices and/or requirements to demonstrate compliance, particularly around load restraint. The workshop can be used to identify issues, share learnings and identify solutions across the softwood, hardwood and cypress sectors.
